INGREDIENTS
Our loose-leaf teas and herbal blends bring together different combinations of tea leaves, herbs, flowers, fruit, and spices. Ingredients vary by blend, so check each product page for its ingredient list and caffeine information.
We focus on Pacific Northwest ingredients where available and source ingredients from farms, foragers, and distributors. For questions about a particular ingredient or blend, please contact us.
TEA LEAVES
The tea leaves used in our blends come from different growing regions, depending on the tea and the blend. We combine these leaves with other ingredients to create our original small-batch blends on Washington’s Long Beach Peninsula.
Follow each product’s brewing directions for the recommended amount of tea, water temperature, and steeping time. Different teas and herbal ingredients need different brewing approaches.
FLAVORING
Each blend has its own flavor profile, shaped by its ingredients. These may include tea leaves, spices, herbs, flowers, fruit, and other ingredients listed on the product page.
Rather than assuming every blend uses the same ingredients or flavoring method, review the individual ingredient list before choosing. If you have a question about an ingredient, we’re happy to help.
PACKAGING
Beach House Teas is a family business. We craft and package our teas, infused sugars, and tea-infused bath products with care.
Packaging and available formats vary by product. Check the product page for the size and format you’re ordering. Keep tea packaging securely closed between uses, or transfer your tea to a suitable airtight container.
SHELF LIFE & STORAGE
For best quality and flavor, we recommend enjoying your tea within 9–12 months of purchase. Our storage recommendation is no longer than 12–15 months, especially for blends containing nuts or fruit pieces. These are quality recommendations, not a guarantee that every blend will retain the same flavor for that period.
Store your tea away from light, air, heat, moisture, and strong odors. An airtight tea canister or a ceramic container with a well-sealed lid can help protect it between uses.
Follow any product-specific storage instructions provided with your order.
