Beach House Teas Signature Recipe: Coastal Wonderland Winter Mocktail

Two sparkling drinks over ice with cranberry and rosemary garnishes on a rustic table beside a misty evergreen window.

A sparkling drink can feel festive without alcohol or a long ingredient list. This winter mocktail pairs chilled Coastal Wonderland tea with white cranberry juice, lemon, and sparkling water, finished with cranberries and rosemary.

We hand-mix our teas in small batches on Washington’s Long Beach Peninsula, with a kiss of Pacific Ocean air. Coastal Wonderland takes inspiration from Peninsula cranberries, making it a fitting base for a winter drink.

Coastal Wonderland Winter Mocktail

Yield: 2 drinks.

Prepare and chill the tea before assembling the drinks.

Ingredients

1 cup strongly brewed Coastal Wonderland, chilled; 1/2 cup white cranberry juice; 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice; 1 tbsp simple syrup, optional; 1 cup sparkling water; ice; fresh cranberries; rosemary sprigs.

Instructions

  1. Divide chilled tea, cranberry juice, and lemon juice between two ice-filled glasses.
  2. Top with sparkling water and gently stir.
  3. Sweeten to taste if needed.
  4. Garnish with cranberries and rosemary.

Prepare the tea first

Use strongly brewed tea, not dry leaves. Strain it before chilling and measuring the cup needed for the two drinks.

What Coastal Wonderland brings

The blend combines sweet cranberry, orange, and cinnamon character with chicory and hibiscus undertones. Its current listing describes a rich crimson brewed cup.

Ingredients: Organic Rooibos Tea, Organic Hibiscus, Organic Cranberries, Organic Cinnamon Chips, Organic Juniper Berries, Organic Orange Peel, Organic Stevia, Organic Chamomile, Organic Roasted Chicory Root, Pure Extracts.

Coastal Wonderland is the specific blend used here. It is not the separate Wonderland Magic blend and does not produce that blend’s blue-to-purple color change.

Keep the syrup optional

The tablespoon of simple syrup is optional. Coastal Wonderland contains stevia, and the juice also contributes flavor and sweetness, so taste before deciding whether to add syrup.

This drink includes juice and may include syrup. Do not describe it as sugar-free or unsweetened merely because tea forms its base.

Finish with sparkling water

Have the chilled tea, juice, glasses, and garnishes ready before assembly. Add sparkling water after dividing the other liquids, then stir gently.

Use fresh food-grade cranberries and rosemary for the garnish, not decorative greenery collected outdoors. Check current full ingredients against guests’ preferences.

Offer it without making a fuss

An alcohol-free option can be part of the main drink selection rather than a separate offering someone has to request. Let guests choose what they enjoy without asking them to explain.

This recipe makes two drinks. Serve it for a small visit or alongside familiar snacks without adding a full party menu.
