Beach House Teas Signature Recipe: Apple Orchard Cider Glazed Pork Tenderloin

Sliced pork tenderloin with amber glaze on a ceramic platter beside apples and rosemary near a misty evergreen window.

A smaller holiday dinner can still have a dish worth gathering around. This pork tenderloin recipe uses Apple Orchard Cider tea in a glaze with maple syrup, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, and rosemary.

We hand-mix our teas in small batches on Washington’s Long Beach Peninsula, with a kiss of Pacific Ocean air. A tea glaze brings those blends into savory cooking as well as baking, and this recipe serves four to six.

Apple Orchard Cider Glazed Pork Tenderloin

Yield: Serves 4–6.

Allow approximately 15–20 minutes for roasting, depending on size, followed by a rest of at least 5 minutes. Allow additional time for preparation, brewing, searing, and reducing the glaze.

Ingredients

2 pork tenderloins; salt and pepper; 1 tbsp olive oil; 1 1/2 cups strongly brewed Apple Orchard Cider; 1/3 cup apple cider; 3 tbsp maple syrup; 2 tbsp Dijon mustard; 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar; 1 tsp fresh rosemary.

Instructions

  1. Season pork and sear in an oven-safe skillet.
  2. Combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan and simmer until reduced by about half.
  3. Brush pork with glaze and roast at 400°F until the thickest portion reaches 145°F, about 15–20 minutes depending on size.
  4. Rest at least 5 minutes before slicing; spoon over additional glaze.

Keep the tea and apple cider distinct

Use both 1 1/2 cups strongly brewed Apple Orchard Cider tea and 1/3 cup apple cider. They are separate ingredients, not alternative names for the same liquid.

Brew and strain the tea before measuring it into the glaze.

Use the olive oil for the searing step

Use the listed olive oil to sear the seasoned pork in the skillet. The tea, apple cider, maple syrup, mustard, vinegar, and rosemary form the glaze.

Keep the glaze reserved for serving separate from any portion or utensil that touches uncooked pork.

Check the temperature before resting

Check the thickest portion for 145°F rather than relying only on the estimated minutes. Rest at least 5 minutes before slicing.

Read the full method before starting and use an oven-safe skillet suitable for the task.

Why Apple Orchard Cider belongs in the glaze

Apple Orchard Cider contains rooibos, herbs, apples, pears, cinnamon, cloves, and pure extracts. Its cider-inspired character connects with the separate apple cider and maple syrup in this recipe.

The blend’s name does not mean the tea is bottled cider. Keep the tea and the other glaze ingredients in their separate quantities.

Build a manageable dinner around it

Choose side dishes your household already enjoys, and plan their timing around the pork’s roasting and rest. A familiar vegetable side or another agreed dish can be enough without turning the meal into a full holiday menu.

Check current full tea ingredients and the labels for mustard and other ingredients against guests’ dietary needs.
